General Resources

Villanova law students, faculty, and staff have access to Write.law's  three certification courses on Core Tech, Practice Tech and Legal Soft Skills through our Westlaw subscription. These interactive video lessons offer cheat sheets and quizzes to check your knowledge on:

  • Core Technology (legal--focused training in MS Word, Excel, Email/Outlook, PDF editors and others)
  • Practice Tech (efiling, document management, time tracking, ediscovery, docketing, trial prep etc.) and
  • Legal Soft Skills (oral argument, business models, tailoring delivery to different audiences).​​​​​​​

All Villanova community members (including, but not limited to, law students) have access to LinkedIn Learning training videos and quizzes which cover a variety of office and legal technology including eDiscovery systems.
