Free scaled-down app version of the Windows-platform Trial Director software (cost for that version is approximately $800/license). Can project, mark up and zoom in on documents, images and videos. Link above is to blog with review and use tips.

Free, "public" version allows creation of unlimited number of presentations but they are open and searchable to the public. Private presentation plans start at $5/mo. More dynamic than PowerPoint, easy to use but formatting is more limited than PPT & transcript is not as readable as printed PPT slides/handouts. Can import existing files, converting to prezi. Product is part of Zoho Docs line and allows you to create, collaborate, share and present slide presentations. Browser based so can use and present on different types of devices no matter what operating system is used. Collaborate feature is especially impressive as is broadcast option--viewers do not need to download software to view presentation.

Requires creation of Google account to use. Create, present and collaborate--comment on slides or share link to presentation with anyone (they do NOT need a Google account to view). Can import/convert PowerPoint slides and have option to download Google Slides in ppt format. Background/design options are limited but can import photos from Google Images.

Free presentation software with option to upgrade. Design and feature options for the free account are more limited than the free versions of prezi, zoho etc but emaze's templates do provide already embedded animations for more dynamic presentations and its easy to insert different file types directly into the presentation (with the exception of non-secure weblinks--only allows use of https links rather than http).
