Legal Research Certifications for Bloomberg, Lexis, and Westlaw
Bloomberg Certification Courses
Must register to access certification program covering Bloomberg Law basic and advanced searching. Students who complete all courses earn a Certification that can be added to their resume or LinkedIn profile. Modules include an Introduction o Bloomberg Law, Fundamentals of Primary Law, Fundamentals of Secondary Law, Litigation, Transactional Practice, Federal Tax Practice and State Tax Research.

Westlaw Certification Training
Complete on-demand 3-step certification tutorials and successfully pass a quiz on the tutorials to earn Westlaw certification. Each tutorial is approximately 30 minutes in length. Several other quick training videos are also provided on this site.

Procertas - Technology Training and Assessment for Lawyers
Complete tutorials and practice tasks in Microsoft Word (also available for Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe) such as creating a Table of Authorities, using Word Styles and other functions related to legal work.. Now includes several modules on Bluebooking. Bluebooking 1 covers basic resources while Bluebooking 2 is more detailed and aimed at scholarly legal writing for law reviews and seminar papers. Bluebooking 3 is an assessment offering additional practice in generating and correcting citations.

Students can any number of the 15,000 courses on many different subjects including Microsoft Office and other tech skills, project management, entrepreneurship, video editing, data analysis and visualization
Browse by topic or search for keywords in the search box at the top. There are courses on the basics of GDPR, Music Law, computer crimes, privacy laws, data breach notification laws and more. You can also view their learning paths to determine which courses might help you reach a specific goal or their collections of courses that focus on a particular issue.
Write.law Legal Technology and Soft Skills Development
Write.law has partnered with Westlaw to offer Westlaw subscribers three certification courses on Core Tech, Practice Tech and Legal Soft Skills. These interactive video lessons offer cheat sheets and quizzes to check your knowledge.
Write.law Core Tech Certification
Legal-focused training on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF editors, and more! Especially useful for its coverage of Email functions which are not covered by Procertas.
Write.law Practice Tech Certification
Covers efiling, document management, time tracking, ediscovery, docketing/calendaring, trial prep tools and compliance among other topics.
