INCLEMENT-WEATHER AND EMERGENCY CLOSING 

The School of Law rarely closes because of weather or other conditions; however, should circumstances make it necessary to close or delay the opening of School, you will be notified by email as soon as the closing decision is made, if it affects your class.  You may use your discretion to cancel your class due to inclement weather conditions, even if the School is not closing.  We ask that you give as much notice as possible so that we may notify students.

You must obtain a WildCard, the University’s photo I.D.  Use this link to the WildCard Office for information on uploading a photo to obtain a Wildcard.  The office is located in Dougherty Hall on the main campus, 610-519-6202. The office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please carry your WildCard when you come to the School of Law. You will need it to access the building after hours, to be admitted to the Law Library, to the Falvey Memorial Library on the University Main Campus, or for any other University activities or gyms. WildCards are issued free of charge; however, there is a fee for replacing lost or stolen WildCards.

Parking

PARKING - Every adjunct faculty member driving to campus must purchase a parking permit—select S-5 (Law School surface lot) or S-4 (garage). The University uses an online, parking registration system click here for the link. If you have any trouble registering on-line, please contact the Parking Office at 610-519- 6992.

The Parking Office now uses license plate recognition so 'hangtags' are no longer issued.  If you have a guest, please contact the Office of Academic Affairs we will need the guests license plate including the state issuing to provide a daily registration into the system.

Email

The University issues an email account for all adjuncts (name@law.villanova.edu).  Many correspondence will go directly to that address and it is the one that auto-populates when student’s type in your name.  IF you would like that address to be forwarded to your work or personal email, please go into the options and forward all emails to the selected address.  IF NOT, please check the VU account regularly.
