The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) recognizes the importance of DEI in creating and maintaining an educational environment that supports students, staff, administrators, and faculty from different orientations and backgrounds. Programs developed and administered by the ODEI help everyone understand the importance of DEI including administering policies and procedures, promoting the value of a fair educational environment, gathering data about program status, and supporting activities that promote goals and objectives. To ensure a program that complies with the UV ODEI and shares current activities, the CWSL DEI works with ODEI staff and the DEI managers with campus responsibility.
