Inaugural CARES Symposium: Immigrant Justice - Victories & Visions

Writing from Birmingham Jail, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. asserted a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws, citing St. Augustine for the principle that an unjust law is no law at all.

Inspired by our Augustinian tradition, Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law will host  the 2020 CARES Symposium, gathering of the legal, faith, and university communities, to share effective, replicable strategies and sustaining visions for resisting injustices and fighting for immigrant justice.

The symposium was originally scheduled for March 2020, and has been postponed.

This webpage will be updated with resources related to the event.
