Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts Annual Law Student Writing Competition

Each year, Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts challenges law students to examine an issue impacting Pennsylvania's judiciary and write an essay supporting their arguments and/or proposed solutions.  Submit by March 22, 2024.

ABA:  State & Local Government Law — The Urban Lawyer

The Urban Lawyer (TUL) welcomes submissions of Articles, Comments, Notes, Essays, and Student Notes on issues of significance in state, local, regional or tribal government law or urban legal affairs, including, without limitation the areas of land use, housing, environmental and energy law, ethics, local government, civil rights, employment, labor, public education, elections and voting rights, emergency management, resiliency, public contracts, public finance, the sharing economy and construction law.

Constance Baker Motley National Student Writing Competition

The American Constitutional Society welcomes all student papers furthering and promoting a progressive vision of the Constitution, law, and public policy.

The Sovereignty Symposium

Inviting papers on any issue concerning Native American law.  Submit by March 15, 2024.
