This Guide aims to provide a resource for Villanova Law students interested in in participating in one of the many annual law student writing competitions. Included here is a list of study resources for legal writers, along with a general list of the sponsers of annual, or at least regular, legal writing competitions. Also provided are specific categories of competitions that accord with popular areas of legal practice. Other competitions may be announced in law student publications, online list-servs and newsletters, and through the Law School's legal writing faculty. Students may also search the Internet for additional such announcements. To find further information regarding a particular competition, contact the sponsers directly, or ask for further assistance from a Reference Librarian.
